Yes. WorkOne has native apps for iPhone and Android, and the same app also installs straight from the browser: open it in Safari or Chrome and choose “Add to Home Screen” — useful when store apps take a while to roll out through your device management. Both scan desk QR codes with the camera, confirm check-ins with a haptic tap and send push notifications for approvals, guests and released desks.
Your workspace is hosted in the European Union and your data stays there. We act as your processor under a data processing agreement, collect only what the product needs (who works where, bookings, trips), and never sell or share it for advertising. Admins can export or delete a person's data on request, and schedules are kept only as long as your retention setting says.
Single sign-on with SAML 2.0 or OpenID Connect — Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, Okta and similar — is included on the Enterprise plan. On Starter and Business, people sign in with their work e-mail and a password, and admins deactivate accounts when someone leaves.
You set the rules once: days per week and per month, which weekdays are allowed, how much notice is needed and whether client-site days need a manager. When someone requests a day, Welyne WorkOne checks it against those rules and their balance as they fill the form. If it fits, it's approved on submit and their manager is simply informed. If it doesn't — over the limit, too short notice, a blocked weekday — it goes to the manager with the reason shown.
We multiply real activity by published emission factors. Remote days avoid a round-trip commute (distance × commute mode factor); business trips use the distance and transport mode, with short-haul flights weighted higher; occupied desks carry an energy factor per desk-day. Factors come from ADEME Base Empreinte and the UK DESNZ conversion factors, and every one is listed with its source in the app, so your ESG team can check and reproduce the numbers.
Most teams go live in two to four weeks. The first week is spent importing people and teams from a CSV and drawing floor plans from your existing PDFs; the second on policies and a pilot with one team. You can start with a single module — usually desk booking or remote work — and switch on the others when you're ready.
Everyone can subscribe to their bookings, remote days and trips as a calendar feed (.ics) in Outlook, Google Calendar or Apple Calendar. Approvals, visitor arrivals and trip updates can be posted to Slack or Microsoft Teams channels, signed webhooks send events to your own systems, and every report exports to CSV. On Enterprise we add single sign-on, SCIM provisioning and HRIS sync, so people, teams and managers stay up to date without manual imports.
